July is here and the kids will be excited to learn about the solar system.  We have some awesome books for your child to explore and learn more on the planets and sun.  We will also be learning about Independence Day and reading books about it.

In the kindergarten class this month we will be discussing camping, camp safety and insects.  We will also talk about healthy eating, hygiene, recycling, rainforests, deserts, and the arctic.  Your child will be learning new songs and finger plays this month and I’m sure they would love to sing them to you. 

July is hot and the children like to play outside in the sprinkler and sandbox.  Please make sure your child has sunscreen in their cubby.  We play in the sprinkler on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so please make sure your child has a swim suit and a towel.

I truly enjoy all of the children in my class and I look forward to helping them learn and watching them grow.  I can’t thank you enough for allowing me this opportunity.
