July
is here! We will be enjoying summer, counting our blessings and learning about the country we live in.
I am working with the children on learning classroom expectations and habits. Also, I am discovering
and learning their personalities.
As a result of various questions from the children I’ve spent
time in the library researching answers to their questions. The children are very curious about different
time periods, history. Therefore, we are exploring in our classroom the answers to these questions.
We will spend the summer learning about our classmates and me so that this upcoming school year will be a successful
partnership in learning.
I am very excited to be offered the opportunity at A Place to Grow to work with your children. I hope that my teaching style will encourage them to ask questions,
draw their own conclusions and be problem solvers. If you have any questions or concerns please call.

Mrs. Jayme
Autobiography for Jayme
My name is Jayme Curry; I am 51 years young and still growing. I
am blessed to be a mother of four beautiful grown children. Academically I am the recipient of several
academic scholarships, two year member of Phi Theta Cappa. I graduated from Sinclair Community College in the year 2000.
Being raised very old fashioned, yet allowed to present a respectful side of a debate with my parents,
instilled me with the confidence that even a child can have wisdom worth of respect. Because of this
open-eared relationship with my parents I know that every child has a voice worthy of being listened to. Alas,
it also taught me to think for myself. I am a baptized Christian with a very open and accepting mind of
all faiths, in face even understanding of those who profess none.
My background is very strong in the fine art, music, English, patience and a delight
for children of all ages. I hope to inspire your child, ready your child for kindergarten, teach them to
believe in themselves and help them build and refine their critical thinking skills. To nurture and aid
children has been a dream of mine since childhood and I consider it an honor that God has afforded this joyous opportunity
to foster all things positive in your child.
